Surface water quality monitoring is a vital tool to maintain healthy ecosystems, ensure a sustainable environment, and comply with existing environmental regulations. Water & Air focuses on evaluating water quality (both surface water and groundwater), soil and sediment quality, and aquatic biological community response to point and nonpoint surface water discharges. We collect samples and measure specific water quality in-situ parameters, such as turbidity, color, pH, specific conductance, and dissolved oxygen. Our scientists can also assist in determining other water quality environmental conditions, such as measuring bathymetry, water circulation patterns, and flow rates. Our scientists are experienced and state certified in conducting Stream, Lake, and Wetland Condition Indices, Biorecons, and other metrics used to assess surface water quality.
